DEAD BROKE NOW SPOTLIGHT

In early 2010, Brotherhood Productions had started its own mini-series “Dead Broke,” whose purpose was to follow a young entrepreneur or artist, striving for an unrealistic dream of success with absolutely no money. The first season followed Sammy Davis and her venture starting her own vintage fashion business. 4 episodes premiered with huge success and Sammy Davis Vintage is going strong in a weakened economy.

Since the end of the first season, Brotherhood Productions needed a new subject for the next 4 episodes. There were way too many subjects to choose from so the two decided to find a way to use them all. Every episode should follow a new subject. In addition, Brotherhood Productions wanted to give more to the new “up and coming” artists and entrepreneurs.

Since Brotherhood Productions has various talent bases, the company decided to incorporate photography alongside video. With Brotherhood Productions’ co-founder Paul Battaglini being a fashion photographer in the past, providing photography and the interview brought the show a new edge and the new story base had been formulated. Take pictures for the subject, then provide an interview for audience insight.

Brotherhood Productions was still not satisfied with the new mini-series format. The mini-series was then to become a full series, with a more personal relationship to the subject. A host for the show was needed, invoking more in-depth sight to the subjects.

That was then and this is now. Being hosted by Paul Battaglini, “Dead Broke” as you knew it is now, “Spotlight.” The show now follows a new subject every season, providing photography and video, expressing the true nature of the next giants in business, art, video and music. Video, photography and media links will be presented on a special section of the Brotherhood Productions website, giving the audience full coverage of every new subject.
